V1 ( Digimuse ) to V2 ( RKHM ) migration

You can move the following from v1 to v2:

user list ( username, email, password, avatar )
user playlists ( name, avatar, items )
user purchases ( items )
music artists
music albums
music tracks
music sources
music genres

Setting, transactions, PageBuilder & MenuBuilder can not be moved

How to migrate?

Backup everything before starting!

Let's say public_html is your root directory and where Digimuse is installed. Create a new folder named old_digimuse in public_html and move all of content into that folder. Edit public_html/old_digimuse/app/config.php , edit web_address and add old_digimuse to end of it. Now you can access the old version in your_digimuse_address.com/old_digimuse . Make sure you have done this or mover will fail to move your files as well and only database information will be transferred

Now upload RKHM to public_html and install it ( docs ). After installation, login to RKHM, go to "tool" list and install Mover plugin. Refresh RKHM, go to setting -> mover and enter Digimuse ( your old version's ) database credentials. Click on "move" and done! Process will continue in background and you can see the process in cronjob-logs

Depending on how much data you have, moving might take anywhere between a few seconds to few hours!

Should you migrate?!

If you have only used "automation" then no. RKHM can easily re-create all of those content in a better fashion. If you used Digimuse to offer your own music or sell stuff, then yes, you should migrate to make sure your users have access to their account, playlists, purchased items
